We believe life is better lived in community. Because of that, we feel a responsibility to give back to our world through serving and giving our time and resources to organizations in our community that are making a global impact. Paying it forward in all facets of life is a core value that we proudly boast, because we know that giving is contagious. Just maybe something we do here will inspire others to realize that they too can make a difference in this world… and to take action to also be generous!
iAM’s Love in Action
Hope is such a huge part of healing. Loving on and praying for patients at one of our local Community Health Centers.
Schools can always use a little extra TLC. Having a BLAST spreading mulch for the flower beds at a local high school.
Partnering with ministries that are already making a big impact is our model. Make Your Mark is a ministry that serves under-priviledged youth in LOTS of ways, including preparing meals; so we deep cleaned their kitchen.
Working together we can make a GLOBAL impact. Servants with a Heart sends thousands of packaged meals to starving countries like Uganda and Ethiopia. Hairnets are cool when it means a family will have food for a day.
Our local Urban Ministries Center has an art program that encourages the homeless to use their art as an outlet. It’s amazing to see their talent. Painting rocks with them to build a bridge for their on-site garden.
The American Red Cross does so much to help give the gift of life. Whether it’s responding to a disaster for clean-up or sending blood to hospitals. This was Anna’s first time giving blood! GO ANNA!
Putting a smile on a child’s face is such a rewarding feeling. There’s nothing quite like go-karts to do just that. Kindermourn is a ministry that provides counseling to children who have lost parents, siblings or friends. We’re just hanging out and having fun, showing them there is still fun to be had and friends to be made.
The Bible tells us to love our neighbors. Helping our elderly neighbors clean up around their house and weed their blueberry garden impacted us as much as it blessed them.
